\nShe could tear you from love to a dungeon of rage;
\nShe could change on a whim, or be true for a year,
\nWhen you’re sure of uncertainty nothing is clear.<\/p>\n
When we met on the deck of a liner at sea,
\nShe was charming and witty and eager for me,
\nBut as time passed away and was buried in life,
\nAll her sweet harmony turned to soap op’ra strife.<\/p>\n
If I’m honest enough to admit I was wrong,
\nThat the tunes that I heard were not Cupid at song,
\nWhy can’t she ever see there is only one change
\nThat could bring all her wants and her wishes in range.<\/p>\n
Now abandon the life of a dithering fool
\nAnd discover that love is the only true rule.<\/p>\n
