\nThe Spring is filled with beauty, every perfect bud’s a gift,
\nWe’d walk along the tow-path set the rest of life adrift
\nBut Bloody Hell today is Bleedin’ Freezin’!<\/p>\n
The blue above supporting friendly wisps of cotton wool
\nPast fields and bluebelled woodlands, till you gave an urgent pull
\nTo join you in a meadow (after checking for a bull)

A picnic on a blanket then a laze beneath the sun
\nDrinking wine and sharing doughnuts when the major eating’s done
\nBefore I start to kiss you in an afternoon of fun
\nBut Bloody Hell today is Bleedin’ Freezin’!<\/p>\n
For the Summer and the Autumn I can paint the scene the same
\nI’ll live through any weather if you’ll join me in the game
\nBut now we’re into winter and I think it’s such a shame
