\nFalls laughing over polished stones
\nUntroubled by the mocking breeze
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Or mobile phones<\/p>\n
A mossy bank in dappled shade
\nBeside the pool beneath the fall
\nA tiny isle that crowns the glade
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Where I feel small<\/p>\n
No other hikers seem to find
\nThis hidden Eden on a hill
\nWhere I can leave my life behind
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 For all is still<\/p>\n
The walk is short to find the tarn
\nAn easy climb to reach the top
\nAnd far below a ruined barn
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 But here’s my stop<\/p>\n
I love the views, the rocks, the taste
\nOf England’s purest mountain air
\nBut I can leave them all in haste
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 To claim my lair<\/p>\n
I shan’t reveal the way to go
\nThis spot is mine it’s part of me
\nBut there is one I’d love to show

To lie in love beneath the Moon
\nWith her beside that minute beach
\nOr on some balmy afternoon

It’s been too long since I was there
