\nIt’s not a race towards a destination
\nAnd not a game that only one can win
\nNo extra prize for moral indignation
\nTo be yourself is not a mortal sin<\/p>\n
The compromise must be a part of living
\nAnd two and two can equal more than four
\nReceiving’s not the better part of giving
\nWith head held high my feet stay on the floor<\/p>\n
I’ve tried to be the man they all demanded
\nTo what effect I can’t begin to say
\nBut in my heart I should be reprimanded
\nFor letting other actors choose my play<\/p>\n
I’m not complete, can never be completed,
\nBut, naked and alone, I’m undefeated<\/p>\n
