In Praise of Gaddafi the Great Leader

\nIn Libya the leader is a man beyond compare
\nAdmired and loved across his happy nation
\nThe populous are wealthy and are free-er than the air
\nGaddafi needs our praise and admiration<\/p>\n
No demonstrators ever feel the need to raise a voice
\nAnd none are ever shot out in the street
\nEach citizen acclaims him through a free and open choice
\nHe has no foes to torture and defeat<\/p>\n
No Libyan will ever face imported foreign troops
\nAnd none are killed by missiles from above
\nSince no-one ever thinks of joining non-existent groups
\nThat think of him with less than perfect love<\/p>\n
The cities at the Eastern edge are peaceful and controlled
\nHis fiat runs throughout the joyous land
\nIf there were any victims they would all feel well consoled
\nThey didn’t die at any foreign hand<\/p>\n
So raise your heart in chorus for Gaddafi the supreme
\nA leader who is far above all others
\nPlease shut your eyes and stuff your ears then you won’t hear a scream
\nWhen mercenaries start shooting at their “brothers”<\/p>\n

\nColonel Gaddaffi gave an interview to the BBC and ABC explaining that there
\nwere no demonstrations, all his people loved him. (He also said the
\ndemonstrators were on drugs supplied by Al Qaeda, but as there aren’t any that
