\nI’d thought that the winter was easin’
\nFrom inside the World appeared pleasin’
\nAnd not like a fridge with a breeze in
\nI’m waiting for much warmer days<\/p>\n
It ought to be Spring but it’s freezin’
\nThe sprinkles of crocus are teasin’
\nIt seems the last season’s reprisin’
\nAn unfriendly aura that stays<\/p>\n
All round there is coughin’ and sneezin’
\nAn elderly woman is wheezin’
\nShe gets out her bag with the keys in
\nAnd dreams of a hearth with a blaze<\/p>\n
Meteorologists get their degrees in
\nAnd build up their weird expertise in
\nThe way that the weather is squeezin’
\nThe climate they aim to appraise<\/p>\n
I’m sittin’ at home letting teas in
\nWhile dreaming of places that she’s in
\nAnd warm Summer breezes are seizin’
\nThe best and the brightest of days<\/p>\n
