\nNot winning on the Lotto has become a dreadful drag,
\nI haven’t got a Bentley, or a Roller, or a Jag;
\nMy house is not a mansion and I can’t afford a yacht,
\nI’ll have to be contented with the lot that I have got.<\/p>\n
I’d like to lunch in Lisbon then jet home again for tea.
\nSpend winters in Mauritius (if that’s this year’s place-to-be)
\nBut every week the paper prints the balls they drew in line;
\nThey’re six quite boring numbers and they aren’t the same as mine!<\/p>\n
But this week I’ve asked nicely and the lady on the till
\nSays I have bought the winner, so I’m waiting for the thrill.
\nNext week I’ll shop at Harrod’s and my car will be brand new —
