This Morning

\nI should have stayed asleep, tucked up in bed;
\nThe engineering works had overrun,
\nThey said that I could catch a bus instead,
\nThe trip to work would not be any fun!<\/p>\n
Bank holidays can set a sunny mood,
\nA day off work with not too much to do,
\nRelaxing in the sun you feel renewed,
\nTill Tuesday transport troubles turn you blue.<\/p>\n
I walked and dreamt of strolling in the hills
\nAnd lazy afternoons beside the sea,
\nSome vintage wine to wash away the ills
\n(Or maybe just another cup of tea).<\/p>\n
But then I noticed scrawled in felt tipped pen —
