Not Just a Dream

\nWhy would you live for promises tomorrow,
\nOr think that threats show men a better way?
\nForget about pretended joy and sorrow
\nAnd build a world that’s living for today.<\/p>\n
We’re all the same, not born to serve a nation,
\nLet’s fight for life and not some petty king.
\nReligions too encourage confrontation
\nWhen every one has different truths to bring.<\/p>\n
And if you claim to own the world’s resources,
\nThen other men won’t have enough to live.
\nLet’s try to find a path that reinforces
\nThe rule “Before you take, you have to give”.<\/p>\n
It’s not a dream if we can all agree,
\nThat “they” are worth as much as “you and me”.<\/p>\n
