\nIn a city full of stories by the mighty river Nile
\nThere are sights to make you marvel and some more to make you smile
\nOn the sunbaked plain of Giza are the pyramids of fame
\nAnd around each hidden corner there are wonders I can’t name
\nYou won’t meet more friendly people (when they aren’t behind the wheel)
\nIn a city full of stories with a half forgotten feel<\/p>\n
In this country full of stories there are places I must go
\nTo see man’s first ancient wonders and the truths he didn’t know
\nAnd it has its modern wonders and its modern eyesores too
\nIn the wake of revolution all ideas seem fresh and new
\nAnd I’ll take away the mem’ries of the people that we met
\nBut this country full of stories has some traffic to forget!<\/p>\n
