\nBut now we find that it’s been reinvented
\nThe dreary wet and cold is here to say
\nSince I got home it’s driven me demented<\/p>\n
In Egypt it is always hot and dry
\nA life like that could soon be dull and boring
\nBut for a week it must be worth a try
\nAnd truth to tell I’d do a little moring<\/p>\n
The drip and drop and pitter pat goes on
\nNo silent spells no peaceful intermission
\nFrom desert scenes where day-long suns were shone
\nTo London where the rain seeks no permission<\/p>\n
But wet or dry here’s where I want to be
\nIf I could only have you next to me<\/p>\n
