\nEach night’s TV is endlessly depressing,
\nIll-natured men advance abhorrent views,
\nCelebrities provide some window-dressing
\nBut I can’t smile while following the news.<\/p>\n
A missing child, a cruise ship with a hole in,
\nThe Arab spring unsprung by guns and tanks,
\nSad businessmen who can’t achieve their goal in
\nEconomies made fragile by the banks.<\/p>\n
And then tonight two hours about stargazing,
\nExcited folk examining the skies.
\nSo beautiful, the galaxy’s amazing,
\nI’ve gone outside and can’t believe my eyes.<\/p>\n
Binoculars are all it takes to make
