\nThe rain comes down in stair-rods, then the sun comes out to play,
\nIt’s freezing cold then balmy, that’s an average April day.
\nThe birds are busy nesting and there’s blossom on the trees
\nBut I can’t think of springtime when there’s puddles to my knees.
\nThe winter was a hot-one so I’ll bet on summer chills,
\nWith hosepipe bans\u00a0 and flooding till the water-table fills
\nBut even though it’s awful and I’ll moan and then complain
\nI love it here in England in the rain!<\/p>\n
