We all agree that love and lust together
\nTurn drudgery to Technicolor dreams
\nBut sometimes we encounter stormy weather,
\nThen living isn’t everything it seems.<\/p>\n
Perfection’s not in everybody’s future
\nAnd making-do’s the best that some will see.
\nA pretty girl can be an ideal suture
\nIf life has only promised misery.<\/p>\n
Some borrowed hope may clear the darkest sky,
\nWhen purchased love bids loneliness goodbye.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 And Queens who wed to “aid an ailing state”,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 May think comparisons are rude or funny
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 But that’s because they’ve twisted the debate.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The gift that keeps the foolish from the wise,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Is knowing love is born of compromise.<\/p>\n
So settle down with sweethearts you were born for,
\nEnjoy the fruits that nature sends your way,
\nWhen happy times are memories to mourn for
\nRemember there’s an answer, if you pay.<\/p>\n
It’s not a sin to yearn for other chances,
\nTo take the time to satisfy your heart,
\nNot every girl makes magic when she dances
\nOr has the skill to play the hardest part.<\/p>\n
With eyes that seem to tell all fairy stories
\nAnd lips that taste of honey from the hive,
\nGo find a willing source of all life’s glories
\nAnd let her help you prove you’re still alive.<\/p>\n
As Terry Pratchett’s seamstresses all know,
\nThere’s more to life than learning how to sew.<\/p>\n

\nIt isn’t smooth enough, and the discontinuities are too stark, but I’m finding
\nit rather hard to make words fit together at the moment — I think it’s a
\nlittle better now, but I’m leaving the first version up as a warning to myself.<\/p>\n
