\nSo the government won’t hurt me, it’s a law abiding state
\nThey would never make me doubt that the Policeman is my mate

If my teenagers get silly they can trust the men in blue,
\nI could never raise a rebel who would look for something new
\nEvery child should be a robot who will bid free speech adieu

Everyone who won’t believe me is a terrorist or fool
\nThere’s no need for private spaces if you all obey my rule
\nAnd forget about the freedoms that they offered you in school

Any politician reading hang your head in abject shame
\nConstant oversight’s your duty but you only play the game
\nIn our states, less free than China, you can’t see it’s you to blame

\nWe appear to be in an era of lawless governments. Magna Carta and the US
\nconstitution, the EU’s treaties all routinely ignored by politicians in the
\nname of “the war on X” but real wars have rules too. The free World made that
