Kittens Today Don’t Know They’re Born!

\nIn India there’s little kittens dying
\nFor what you leave they’d gladly lick your feet
\nYet I get back in time to catch you trying
\nTo sneak away while there’s still food to eat<\/p>\n
I know that there’s a bright reflection shining
\nAcross the floor and it needs you to play
\nBut I’m not going to listen to your whining
\nTill that bowl’s clean right here is where you’ll stay<\/p>\n
When I was young there were no easy dinners
\nNo fresh caught fish, no tender chicken breasts
\nYoung cats today are born already winners
\nWe stalked thin mice and baby birds in nests<\/p>\n
I have to take this rather strict precaution
\nOr maybe they’ll give me a smaller portion!<\/p>\n
