There is very little nicer than a scone with clotted cream,
\nA pot of tea to wash it down beside.
\nIf your heart belongs to Devon, cream on first will be your dream
\nWith strawberry jam above it for the ride,
\nBut Cornish men and women like their clotted cream on show
\nSo a lovely yellow dollop sits on home-made jam below.<\/p>\n
There’s not much wrong with butter,it goes very well with toast,
\nAnd isn’t bad between your jam and bread,
\nBut if perfect tea time dining is to be your special boast
\nYou’ll need to purchase clotted cream instead.
\nA fresh baked scone and strawberry jam makes ordinary supreme
\nIf complimented by a dose of English clotted cream!<\/p>\n
