\nI don’t believe in heaven and a perfect afterlife,
\nI don’t believe that death will bring eternities of strife,
\nI don’t think unseen deities are judging all we do,
\nBut I believe in here and now, and I believe in you.<\/p>\n

I don’t believe in God above, the Devil down below,
\nOr tatty men with megaphones who tell you that they know.
\nTen thousand false religions fill with fools who make a fuss,
\nBut I believe I’m here today, and I believe in us.<\/p>\n

I don’t wrap all my hopes inside a prayer to who-knows-what,
\nOr offer everyone I meet a slice of what is not,
\nBut I’ll believe in happiness, in spirits soaring free,
