\nI’ve never made a fortune in the city,
\nI’ve never won a medal or a cup,
\nI can’t pretend the face I wear is pretty
\nThough from down here at least I’m looking up.
\nIn any two horse race I come in second,
\nMy poetry is far too rarely read,
\nI’m not ahead however scores are reckoned
\nBut that’s not how the World is, in my head.
\nInside my mind I know that I’m the winner
\nStood far above all others I can see.
\nI’m like a man with fillet steak each dinner
\nAnd clotted cream and Devon scones for tea.
\n\u00a0 \u00a0No-one can take my happiness away
\n\u00a0 \u00a0As long as you’re in love with me today.<\/p>\n
