\nI’m sitting watching cricket on my own,
\nThe weather’s fine, not sunny, there’s no rain.
\n“Do not disturb” is turned on on my phone
\nI’m happy to let others take the strain.<\/p>\n
The game’s not great, we need to win but won’t
\nOr if we do it won’t be by enough,
\nI ought to feel despairing but I don’t
\nLife’s at its best when things are slightly tough.<\/p>\n
I’ve many friends, and family besides
\nBut they aren’t here, there’s nothing I need do.
\nEach worry I should have looks out and hides.
\nFor just a while I don’t even think of you.<\/p>\n
However many people are around
